How do you design for unsettling tech-news sentiments?
The goal of this project was to visually translate “disinformation" and “right-wing", sentiments that are associated with extreme imagery into subtle elements that can successfully encompass the message of the series.
For these banners, I researched inspiration to reflect the two words, and created typographical treatment to highlight the layers of meaning through commonly associated colors. Complementing the webinar topics with these elements was in consideration of the religious and socio-political context that are often associated with the keywords.
